Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of TradeCoreLab during its private alpha phase.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using TradeCoreLab, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service. You must be at least 18 years old to use this service.

2. Alpha Status

  • This is a private alpha product, not a finished commercial service
  • Features may change, break, or be removed without notice
  • The service may be discontinued at any time
  • No uptime guarantee or SLA
  • Data is preserved on a best-effort basis but not guaranteed

3. What This Service Is (and Is Not)

  • TradeCoreLab is a personal trade journaling and analytics tool
  • It is NOT a financial advisor, broker, or investment service
  • It does NOT provide financial, investment, tax, or legal advice
  • AI-generated analysis is for informational and educational purposes only
  • AI outputs may contain errors and must always be verified by the user
  • You are solely responsible for your own trading decisions

4. AI Features Disclaimer

  • AI parsing of screenshots and broker statements is best-effort and may produce incorrect data (wrong symbols, P&L, direction, dates)
  • You must review all AI-parsed data before saving
  • AI coaching reflects patterns in your data and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or misleading
  • The developer is not liable for decisions made based on AI outputs
  • AI features use third-party services (Anthropic Claude) subject to their own terms

5. User Accounts & Access

  • Accounts require a valid invite code
  • Invite codes are personal and non-transferable
  • Account sharing is prohibited
  • One account per person
  • Access may be revoked at any time for any reason

6. Acceptable Use

  • Do not abuse AI features (excessive requests, prompt injection)
  • Do not use the service for any illegal purpose
  • Do not attempt to access other users' data
  • Do not reverse-engineer or scrape the service

7. Data, Privacy & Communications

See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling. You own your trade data. The developer may access data for debugging and improving the service during alpha.

We may send you account-related emails (password resets, critical service updates). Marketing emails (product updates, features, tips) are opt-in only and you can unsubscribe at any time.

8. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

The developer is not liable for:

  • Trading losses or financial losses of any kind
  • Missed trades or incorrect data
  • Data loss or service outages
  • AI errors, incorrect parsing, or misleading analysis
  • Any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages

This is a free service. Maximum liability is capped at $0. You assume all risk of using the service. This applies to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify the developer against any claims arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

10. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. The developer may suspend or delete accounts without notice during alpha. Upon termination, your data may be deleted.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms at any time without prior notice. Changes take effect as soon as they are posted on this page. Your continued use of the service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new terms. We recommend checking this page periodically.

12. Governing Law

These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Singapore. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Singapore.
